I'll be taking a trip down to Baton Rouge for the Auburn-LSU game this year. Huge college football fan, but this will be my first real SEC game experience. I'll be coming up very early from New Orleans in a taxi. Any suggestions as to what to do for tailgating? (i.e. where is it visiting fan friendly that I can walk into with some beer and be accepted?) What is a must see? Food suggestions? Where should I head post-game?
I've looked at a few LSU tailgating guide posts, but they're more set-up for folks pulling in with their own car. Appreciate all the help I can get.
