- Says Cowan sets a pace with her character and how she goes about her business. She gets to do one event on Friday, but she provides a leadership in the locker room.
- Says the River Center meet is a chance for them to get an away score for their NQS without having to fly or travel. They also get an away score in front of a home crowd. Want to drop a 197.225, and they feel this meet gives them a chance to put up a better score on the road.
- Feels scores don't always tell the truth. Felt they performed better against Florida than they did last week at home, but they got a lower score at Florida.
- Says they have a ton of depth on floor. Ballard hasn't been on the event recently, but she got back out there and scored a 9.900. Says she injured her foot a little bit, but thinks she'll be fine.
- Thinks they'll be able to run one exhibition in each event since it's not on TV this week.
- Says one of their emphasis this week was sticking their landings. They had a hard time doing so against Florida, but felt they were better this week. Does think they still need to be more consistent on vault even though they're No. 2 on the event this season.
- Says Haleigh Bryant is better at turning her mind off and just performing than anyone in the country. Doesn't know if she ever gets nervous anymore. 32 of 35 routines scored a 9.900 or better this season.
- Says this schedule laid out very nice. They've been home and away in back-to-back weeks each time, and they get to end the regular season with meets at home, river center, home and in NOLA.
- Knew their freshman were going to be strong, but didn't know how much they'd be able to do. Says you can't predict those things, but knew they were very, very good.
- His hope for the new arena (whether it's renovating or building a new place) is that it becomes a place people want to come to and that it gives all sports equal access to it.
- Says the River Center meet allows them to get an "away environment" outside of the PMAC, but also has a ton of LSU fans.
- Says a podium event is a little bit different than normal. They have different landings, and that's what they're going to be doing in the post season.
- Said getting a career high on Friday was awesome. Once she stuck it she knew she did well and said it was an amazing feeling.
- Thinks Haleigh Bryant is a great teammate. She watched her while in high school, and now she gets to walk down the hall and talk to her whenever she wants.
- As a specialist, she thinks it's a special opportunity. She performs on one event (bars) and then gets to be a motivator for her teammates who are doing other events.
- She is the only gymnast in her family. She said she liked to be crazy as a kid, so her family put her in gymnastics so she could do that in a safe environment.
