Thought the team did a good job getting in the right mindset for their road trip. Had an 11am kick, had to drive an hour to the stadium, but they had the right mindset to go out and win.

Thinks Daniels' pocket presence was phenomenal this Saturday, thinks he made a lot of throws knowing that he was going to take a hit after. Called a lot of his passes "NFL throws."
Felt really good about how a lot of the new starters on defense played Saturday. Feels they have more than 11 defensive starters, wants to rotate those guys in more often.
Feels Greg Penn is someone they want to keep on the field, he's one of their best leaders on defense.
Thinks Maason Smith is still getting back into things. Found some things against Grambling he needed to fix, and he showed development in those areas against Mississippi State.
Says Kaleb Jackson brings physicality and explosiveness, but still has a lot to learn. Says he's terrific to coach, but he wasn't a four year player in high school so he's still learning some of the rules of the game and in pass protection especially.
On KJ Jefferson: He feels like this is his year to showcase himself. Feels like he's trying to make plays with a lot of young and new players. He's still big, physical and athletic, but they're going to be prepared to play him.
Felt like Perkins played with more energy and emotion on Saturday which helped him to have his best performance of the season.
Whit Weeks has elite speed and can make up for mistakes with that speed. In the run game, he shoots the gap when he sees one. They played him as a true freshman because he makes a lot of great decisions with his athleticism, but feels he still has some growing to do.
