Jordan Jefferson graded out as LSU's best defensive lineman against Army. Kelly called him one of the strongest players on the team. Jefferson has a 500 Ibs bench and 600 Ibs squat. When they recruited him in the portal, they liked his experience and his ability to get leverage and get off blocks, and being super strong on top of that helped.
Feels they've ran the ball really well. It provides a balance for their passing game. Says LSU is 13th in rushing and 3rd in passing offense this season. Said he'd take 200 rushing yards per game any day.
They know Alabama is going to be a tough defense, so they need to figure out how to score points, but the biggest difference is their explosiveness on offense.
