1. LF, really nothing to be said, best RB in the country
2. DW, DG and NB- great back up RB's, NB looks like a freshman, but he will get better. DW and DG run as mad as LF does, if they're a better group of RB's in the country on one team, would love to see it. Maybe UGA comes close, but that's it
3. BH- still needs to keep working on his accuracy, but that kid is fast. He is dangerous.
4. Defense- what else needs to be said, they for the most part shut down that Auburn offense. A couple of busted plays here and there, but that is expected and will be corrected. Glad to see Frank Herron with the big play yesterday, waiting for this kid to come along. I saw lots of rotation yesterday and it was good, hardly a drop off. Donte played a lot, so we had two true freshman in the backfield, and really weren't burned at all.
5, Finally the playcalling, loved the play action for the 2nd TD. But my favorite call and this is going to sound crazy, but the 3rd down pass to Jeter in the 4th quarter yesterday. Instead of toss dives, we kept the pressure on, throw in that Naked bootleg and it was great.
So I don't need nor want 60 passes a game, but keep the 3-4 WR sets and run out of that, cant think of many negative rushing plays this week. Then again when you poke a Tiger, you unleash a beast. I suspect Auburn will not run their mouths about LF or any RB anymore.
So for those who say it was the same as last week, if you think running over and over into 8-9 man fronts is the same as what happen yesterday really can't help you.
I predicted 11-1 season so I'm off to a good start, next week we should build a decent lead and work on the short to medium passing game. Yesterday gave me some faith it will be done.
