because of the new sec contracts.And if you ask Alabama-they have made up much more than that by paying Saban well.No telling how much the Alabama revenue has gone up by giving him just a couple of million extra per season.I guarantee you they are probably making an extra 20 million a year because of their successes since 2009. We are willing to waste millions on bad contracts to good but not great coaches, but Lsu had a chance to make a statement by offering Fisher at least 7 million.In all actuality Fisher is probably worth a lot more than Saban because of his time left to coach.Won't we all be pissed if Fisher is Alabama's next coach and he duplicates his successes.And everything we have seen of Fisher,recruiting,record,bowl record-and his recent dismantling of Fla(who we struggled with) shows that he has that kind of coach.
