How difficult is it to hire the proper coach? For Alleva it seems to be impossible. Let me ask you a question. Who do you think has learned more about the game of basketball. A coach that played, and was an assistant for coach K, or a player and assistant under Dale Brown? My goodness, we all know the answer, and that is why Marquette beat our Tigers. I'm trying my best not to be ugly, but the LSU athletic department is run by an imbecile. He must be blind as a bat, and dumb as dirt. I'm almost to the point of not being to watch the men's basketball team. The women's team is even worse. They are so poorly coached that I cannot watch. I have never seen them actually run a play after a time out. Last year I went to a game, and they committed four turnovers inbounding the ball. I promise you guys, inbounding the ball is elementary. Our football team is a joke!!! We have a team that is loaded top to bottom, and play so sloppy that this coach is losing fans by the day. It's pathetic !!!! I'm very aware that it is extremely difficult to win every game. I am the first to congratulate the opponent after they have beaten the Tigers. It's not that coach Miles loses so many games, it's how they lose.
I have no gripes for the men's baseball coach. I believe coach Paul M. does a fine job, but he needs a good coach to improve base running. The Lady Tigers baseball team was very entertaining this past season. I don't know enough about track and field, but I do know we let the finest coach in the history of track and field take the job at A&M. Who was the clown that allowed that?
I'm sick of watching our poorly coached teams. Sick of how much money they are paid for the lack of knowledge they have. I would run all their asses off right now and that includes Alleva. As soon as I saw that special on what happened to the Duke lacrosse players, and the Duke head coach I would have fired Alleva for that. The ex Duke head coach was blackballed from getting another job for three years before he landed a job at a very small college (Baldwin University???). Now that small college now competes very well against the top lacrosse schools in the nation. Alleva was running the show at Duke when all this happened. It was a great injustice to the ex Duke coach who is a terrific man, and even a better coach.
I say fire all of the above mentioned. Clean house, and get these candy ass coaches out of here. Alleva should be fired, and by the way I gave coach Miles a standing ovation Saturday night. That ovation was not in support of our coach to stay, but a thank you for all the memories and good times. I cannot support Miles for too many reason to mention, but I will never forget how he quit during several games.
