During Aranda's introductory press conference Coach Miles noted that after Chavis left LSU / Miles conducted an extensive Coaching search which included interviews with the potential DCs including Dave Aranda. When the various candidates were considered Miles made the decision to hire Kevin Steele rather than Dave Aranda or any of the others.
Obviously Miles felt that Steele was a better DC than Dave Aranda otherwise Aranda would have been the 1 st choice.
My question is does Miles feel,that Aranda is not as good of a DC as Aranda? Surely little has transpired in the one year to suddenly make Aranda better than Steele.
Why was Aranda passed over for Steele last year if Aranda was better
