looking at his profile, it appears that he has experience recruiting all over the country as he has gotten commitments from guys from Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California. That's very important because Corey Raymond is really the only guy who has had significant success in Florida and Peveto the only guy who has done anything in Georgia.
It should be MUCH easier for him to get some of his big targets from those areas to come to LSU than it was for him to get them to Wisconsin.
Say what you may about Kevin Steele, but his value as a recruiter was unquestioned and the new DC had to be a guy who could go out and help us on the recruiting trail bc Chavis left a big void in front 7 talent.
