As good as Bama has been recruiting OL players, it appears they have holes forming on the DL.
They graduate 4 Sr DE's this year, and needed to get Buggs to have someone to go with Desaun Hand. No backups. I'm sure they will move one of their DT's to DE to shore up the position, but this will be the youngest DL for Bama in years, and they don't have a huge NT either.
Along the entire DL, Bama will only have 2 Sr, and 4 Jr. Compared with 5 Sr and 2 Jr in 2016.
Notice that they have Allen listed at DE, not OLB to go with Buggs as incoming Fr.
They have depth at DT, but only one 5 star in DaRone Payne, who will be a Jr next year. Here's their depth chart:
