There are so many different new options that Rivals and Tigerbait has now, I'm learning about new ones all the time, and it occurs to me that others might not be aware of them. We've discussed the filtering option and the ability to 'tag' a member in a post so that he will get an alert to know his name came up - but did you know you could 'follow' members and get alerts when they post?
If you click on a member's name, a little window should come up that gives you options like checking out his profile page and ignoring him, and one of the options is to Follow. You can Unfollow them at any time, so its worth checking out. I find its most useful when there are members you enjoy hearing from but they don't post very often and you don't want to miss when they do, or when they tend to post on a number of different boards that you rarely visit.
Anyway, give it a try. Its a great way to broaden your experience on the site.
