Former LSU star running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire will likely be a Day 1 starter for the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Chiefs RB Damien Williams has opted out of the 2020 season which will ultimately move Edwards-Helaire, who the Chiefs selected in the first round of the NFL Draft, up the depth chart.

Kansas City also has another former LSU RB on its roster in Darrel Williams, along with DeAndre Washington, Darwin Thompson and Louisiana native Elijah McGuire.
