A couple of LSU targets will be making their respective commitments this week:
First up is TE Thomas Fidone, who's announcing on Wednesday, Aug. 26. LSU was in the mix until the very end, but this one is going in Nebraska's direction. It's close to home for Fidone. He's been on campus several times and knows the players and coaches. COVID-19 really hurt LSU in this recruitment because Fidone was never able to make his scheduled visit earlier this year. Four-star CB Nathaniel Wiggins will make his announcement on Friday, Aug. 28, his 18th birthday, but this one is still trending in LSU's favor. If he does indeed pick the Tigers -- like we anticipate -- it'll be over Alabama, Oregon, USC and Florida.
