I've watched every play that the S Carolina defense has run this year and I have a few observations to share .
Their DBs play really soft , allowing big cushions in an effort to prevent the long gainers. They allowed the Georgia QB Grayson Lambert to complete 24 of 25 passes and the Missouri true Fr QB Drew Lock to complete 75 % of his passes in his first start ever. Almost every completion was underneath throws although they did give up a few big plays as well.
The pressure on the QB by this defense was nonexistent . The few times that they did blitz it was inside only.

The SC run defense v UGA and Mizzou was a sieve. The DL had trouble disengaging and no one was running to the ball.

The LSU coaches know this of course and I look for Harris to look for the short and intermediate throws .

A steady diet of Leonard Fournette is to be expected against this defense.

Darn guys , I'm having trouble editing my titles lately . Guess I'll need help, changing Cooks to,Cocks .
Sorry for the errors
