Kiffen is clearly the #1 play here. The downside commonly heard, outside of people hatin' to hate, is that Kiffen is a short term solution. While I agree, I think you could structure him with a 2 year buyout or something similar and sell Dameyune Craig on learning under him. I think it's clear that Craig would like to move up at some point and if you can groom him to replace Lane after two years that would be a great fit for him and also provide a steeping stone for him to be a head coach after sepnding the next 5-6 years at LSU as WR Coach then OC.
