Desmond Ricks, former five-star and Alabama DB, has officially entered the transfer portal. Coming out of high school, many thought Ricks was a lock to land in Baton Rouge, but Alabama swooped in during the 11th hour and Ricks committed to Bama. During an interview after his commitment, there was a video of Ricks nearly saying "I'm ready to be a Tiger," but he corrected himself saying "ready to come home" instead.
You'd have to think LSU will be on Ricks' list, but we'll see if Brian Kelly can get the 2023 five-star in BR. If they're able to sway Ricks, it would be one of, if not their biggest portal pickup to date.
