I have been a member here since Alliance Sports in the late 90's. As you can see from my post count, I don't post relatively often. But, my source on this has steadily risen in the AD building, to the point now that he's not only NEAR the situation, he's in the damn room.

I will put my name, once more, on the following. Believe it if you want, or not, but everyone will see this is legitimate come mid-week.

-Les is out. He knows it, the coaches know it, the players know it. Don't listen to any media spin to the contrary.
-Jimbo is DONE. Yes, nothing has been signed, but the numbers have been crunched, buyouts negotiated, IT. IS OVER.
-The current LSU staff has NOT spoken with Jimbo, BUT their respective statuses have been relayed to them through back channels. Only 3 potential holdovers. Frank, O, and Raymond, with Raymond being the only likely holdover. I honestly do not know why O might not be retained. It may be Jimbo's choice, it may be O's desire to not start over. If it's the latter, then it's absolutely possible O ends up sticking, but he is 100% actively campaigning for a HC gig. And by the way, Frank has an enormous amount of interest in Tulane. O has ZERO. He would love Memphis, though.
-Lastly, Pelini has definitely been contacted to gauge his interest. That very well may be as far as it goes. But Jimbo is an FSU employee for another 48 hours. He has definitely sent out brief feelers to gauge interest in others to join his staff. It helped aid his decision to take our job.

That's it. See y'all at Jimbo's press conference.
