Nyckoles Harbor is coming off an official visit to Michigan this past weekend. He also took an OV to South Carolina earlier this month.
The five-star was supposed to take his visit to LSU on the weekend of Oct. 7 but his high school has a game. A source tells me it's looking like Harbor will be in town for his official on Nov. 19, the same weekend as the UAB game. Obviously, LSU hoped to get him in for a better game when the crowd would be more active, but with his schedule the weekends are limited.
Harbor took an OV to Miami over the summer.
LSU has very good odds of landing Harbor, who has a longtime relationship with LSU DL coach Jamar Cain and obviously LSU's track program is one of the best in the country. And although the UAB game will likely be lacking an SEC atmosphere, it has the potential to be the last OV for Harbor prior to the Early Signing Period in December and would certainly be on the forefront of his mind right before it's decision time.
Harbor's track season ended on August 6th at the AAU National Junior Olympics where he set a new personal best in the 100m with a time of 10.22 seconds.
