Cam had only one recruit to hold onto and he dropped the ball. Shea committed to Ole Miss because of Franks and most of the board stated they wanted Franks over Shea because he got more Louisiana ties, boy what a bag of crap that was. I stated early I would've chose to recruit Shea over Franks, this is my opinion Shea will be a better prospect than Franks. I even saw some posters state "Franks father in the military, he would never de-commit, I laughed when I saw that because his dad being in the military has nothing to do with his recruitment and commitment level. Franks stated he de-committed months ago but Les and Cam hid that info from the public hoping he would change his mind. We recruited the wrong guy, we should've recruited Shea harder, Shea is bringing in other talent to Ole Miss, Franks didn't bring no other recruits to LSU. The writing should've been on the wall.
I wonder how many other recruits we lose, Coach O has recruited vast majority of the defensive line guys, he threw his name out there that he looking for an HC position, many of these recruits committed because of him With us losing games and a possible coach change, will we lose Raymond our DB and Florida recruiter, Frank our RB and New Orleans recruiter, Pevato our Texas connect, it's about to get real scary with these recruits. I feel if we lose Les, we have to bring in Jimbo or a big name guy, we know Jimbo can recruit, his name along will be great, he will try to keep Frank, Bebe and Raymond onboard. If we strike out in the coaching search, that #1 recruiting class will be a memory.
