by my reckoning 4 true Frosh contributed in the 2016 season aside from special teams . None started and 2 were part of the rotation .

Divinity saw more action after Beckham went down
Savion Smith logged a few minutes as well
Several were regulars on STs however
Reviewing the depth charts for 2017 who in the 2017 recruiting class has the best chance to at least break into the 2 deep? Assume that Mike S' predicted class comes through .
Some possibles of mine :
Stephen Guidry . Although not a Fr he's part of this class . He's the No.1 JUCO WR . He could
at least make the top 2-3 if he passes Anderson and Gage
Travis Etienne . He'd have to pass Williams but true Fr can contribute right away
Duculus . Everyone expects him to be SEC ready . Perhaps the 2 deep if not a starter . But he'd
have to pass some veterans
Marvin Wilson . Watch for him to make a move mid season when he gets used to the college
game his minutes will increase
Tyler Shelvin . Long shot because to good NGs are ahead of him . Is he the next Ed Alexander
Jacob Phillips . A thin position allows an opening at ILB
Stevens . Enrolling early gives him a leg up at another thin position but he'll have to beat out
Monroe . But he may find himself in the nickel position . At least 2 deep.
