No. 1 LSU Tigers (32-8, 12-5 SEC) vs. No. 32 Alabama (30-12, 9-9 SEC)

Gents, time for our Tigers to step up again. Just like Ole Miss last week, this Alabama team is much better than their record and ranking indicates (#21 RPI and they have played a challenging schedule). They are starting (3) seasoned veteran RHPs against us, each of which has a sub 4.00 ERA. As well, bama has won (6) of their last (7) games, including a sweep of Missouri last week on the road. LSU has won (5) series in a row against bama, dating back to 2017. Let’s keep that streak going!

With Arkansas beating A&M last night, we hold just a single game lead in the SEC West and are a game behind USCe for 1st overall in the SEC standings.

Again, Skenes needs to set the tone for the weekend and Tanks (healthy?) and The Crews Missile need to set the tone for our bats. Crush bama for three straight days and build an insurmountable lead in the SEC West! and we need to forget that god-awful game on Tuesday and refocus for the task at hand. Adopt that Championship confidence and mentality just like the ’91 Team!!! Let's Geaux Tigers!!!
