I'll probably get flamed for raising this question, but I have to wonder what all the hype was about when Miles hired Grimes. He was supposedly a great recruiter and position coach. Time may prove that correct, but so far there's been little to support it. Couldn't hang on to the commit that was given top priority (Womack), couldn't pull a home state top OL (Tillery) away from a school that never pulls prospects out of Louisiana, flipped one prospect (Brown) due to UF coaching change and inherited one (Teuhema) due to brother being at LSU. Missed on at least a couple of other priorities. Coaching did not really show any improvement over the previous coach. OL was terrible first half of season and injuries is a weak excuse for looking THAT bad.
Maybe that's harsh and I wish it looked better, but really, anything near the hype he was given is very unearned at this point.
