shame that the government does not pay for kids educations. LSU was founded as a public institution ,in the 1800's with a purpose to educate and research that has benefited mankind and business. Universities became economic engines.Today Money is going into other places instead of one of its intended purposes .Education is the fountain of youth and the foundation of this country. There is more to a persons education than learning a trade. Higher education offers certain intangibles that can not be immediately qualified nor quantified. It is a necessary part of a civilized society.

Americas universities are the best in the world and there is a reason. There is a reason why foreigners wealthy parents send their children to American Universities.

The average person cannot afford 25,000 a semester. Putting kids in debt and manipulating the system for other reasons is wrong. If kids owe gigantic loans,it will have a startling effect on our economy over time. With the complexities of curriculum today,it is difficult for a kid to work and study .

Below is LSU's historical tuition costs back to 1988. When I have time ,I will find the entire historical tuitions costs for LSU.
