preseason held lots of doubts about the LSU offense particularly the play of whoever the QB was going to be. The thinking was that the defense would have to be great in order for the sason to be successful and most felt that it would be just that.

With the big Ala game looming and the way that both units have evolved the thinking has turned to ...if our potent offense can out score Alabama in a high scoring affair we'll win. Things are reversed from preseason.

While Ala is no offensive juggernaut the probably have the best offense that LSU has seem to date ( maybe WKU) .

Can we trust that defense to hold Alabama under 20 ? Will Kevin Steele's familiarity will everything Alabama give LSU an edge. ? Darn sure won't hurt.
