If I was Orgeron this is what I would do.
Offense:
1. Remove Kragthorpe and give that job to Ensminger. Loyalty can only go so far.
2. Personally I would replace Grimes.
3. Do all I could to keep Craig.
4. Replace Juluke.
5. Canada as OC
Defense:
1. Put P. Jenkins in an advisory role.
2. Hire Bo Davis
3. Keep CR. The best DB coach/recruiter in college football.
4. I don't know enough about the guy they promoted Johnson to make a comment. But it's risky being a coach like Orgeron promising a great staff.
5. Aranda as DC.
Hire as many shadow personnel Re: Bama as Joe Alleva will let you hire to help with talent evaluation/recruiting and film study of teams on schedule.
As a person that has hired many people I can tell you one thing....if you plan to be successful you must hire the best and not get caught up in loyalty and who you know. That's the kiss of death. When you limit yourselves to who you know you shrink the talent pool of what's available. Again I say not smart.
