As for running the ball that has not been a problem except when a team shuts down the passing game then loads the box. Then the team becomes non-dimensional rather than one dimensional. See the past Alabama games for example. From a group of 11 other conference teams only 4 scored fewer points than LSU last week end. The statement was made that the players understood Aranda's defensive scheme better than the scheme from a year earlier, it certainly didn't benefit their cause on the field in Wisconsin. Coach Miles I gather from the headline is wanting to emulate Urban Meyer and the Ohio State program. Lofty aspirations, that will likely be filed beside statements about the strides that Brandon Harris made during the spring and summer. I have the feeling this is going to be one of the longer less memorable seasons in awhile.
