OFF TOPIC I think there is a way NIL could be improved with minimal effort.

When Jamrcus Russell signed with the Raiders he received a contract that guaranteed 52 million in addition to his full contract; Russell' initial contract was more than what most if not all veteran NFL QBs , including Peyton Manning, were making. The absolute foolishnes of the preceding imo led to the NFL capping rookie contracts.
I'm not sure of the legality but it sure seems NIL ( cough, cough) agreements could be done the same way, i. e. cap NIL payments to incoming hs players. One of the problems with NIL money as I see it is unproven hs players getting more money than players who have been in the system 2 or more years.
