Steele's scheme with the DB is not working. If I see one more CB drop off to allow a safety to come over and cover a WR going deep I will throw up. That play has killed us every game. It has always resulted in a score, if not on that play pretty quick thereafter. It has happened every game. They have tried 2 different combinations on the left side of the D and they have both failed miserably.
Our DB are great athletes. Let them play man on the outside and screw the Tampa D. IMO this is also why the passes down the middle are hurtful. You do not have a safety in the center of the field when you have 2 deep. If you are going to play this kind of D play a dime. Our DB are so athletic can stay with WR so well and go to the ball so fast why give them an opportunity to make a mental mistake by being in the wrong spot in a zone. Make the other WR beat them man up.
