The good news for LSU fans, Desmond Ricks has been open about his appreciation for the Tigers’ tradition and history, especially the rich history of defensive backs that have come through on the field. After months of waiting to see LSU in action under new head coach Brian Kelly and the work of the defense under coordinator Matt House, the 2024 five-star corner from Florida’s IMG Academy was on hand to see the 31-16 win over Mississippi State.
“It was great being in Death Valley for a night game; there’s nothing like it,” Ricks said. “It was very loud in there.”
On upcoming visits, Ricks is taking everything as it come.
“I’m taking it week by week,” Ricks stated. “Just about everybody is reaching out. I am hearing from a lot of schools. I am open to everybody.”
