Hear me out.
I don't think for a minute that either of these teams are anywhere near comparable to their 2011 counterparts. My argument is based on the assumption that a victory in two weeks likely produces the following results:
1. Cements Fournette as the Heisman 2015 winner.
2. Eliminates Bama from the national title race (for real this time).
3. Brings even more attention and exposure to LSU and Fournette in our following games against defenses that are favorable to our running game. Basically resulting in another month or so of being the media darling as we approach prime time recruiting season.
4. Exponentially increases the likelihood we make the CFP. Even if we do lose a game, having beaten Bama, Florida, and MSU as well as having the Heisman trophy winner will likely make us the most appealing one loss team.
