LSU point guard Javonte Smart will withdraw from the NBA Draft and return to LSU for his junior season, according to his most recent tweet.
Smart, a Baton Rouge native who prepped at Scotlandville, has logged playing time in 65 career games and started 48 over the last two years.
The 6-4, 205-pounder averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game in his sophomore season. In 2018-19, he averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Earlier on Monday, we learned that Darius Days would also be returning to LSU.
