LSU wanted Jimbo. Jimbo needed to much to make it work for him and his personal situation. As the details were known it did not feel right to LSU so LSU cooled on Jimbo. Moved to Herman but were not totally sold on him and not willing to give him the same money as Jimbo. When Herman wobbled a tad LSU said forget it we have a man begging and wanting the job and we like him. End of story.
