The administration should look at how many NCAA tourney teams LSU beat this year. LSU played 34 games and beat a total of 3 teams that went to the big dance, UK, Texas A&M, and Vandy. That is 3 out of 34 and JJ kept his job. The administration just does not care. JJ deserves to coach in an empty PMAC next year.
Some would say the buyout of $800,000 to fire him is too costly. That is the equivalent of 2800 tickets per game. Trust me, there will be 3000 fewer people watching the fighting Darcy Malone's play next year.

I've used the word awful to describe LSU before but it is really embarrassing. LSU has too many built in advantages not to be in the field of 68 every year. There is not another major college within 300 miles of LSU and the SEC is the sisters of the poor outside of Kentucky.
