Joe Burrow will finally be on the field again this Sunday for a limited number of snaps.
Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said in his press conference that Burrow will play limited snaps in the team's final preseason game against the Miami Dolphins.
It will mark the first game reps for Burrow since suffering a torn ACL in late November 2020.
"I think that's what's best for the team. I think that's what's best for all of us, so we're going to do it," Taylor said, according to ESPN's Ben Baby.
"It'll be very limited. We'll be smart with what we do."
The former LSU star quarterback admitted recently that he has struggled mentally during training camp, so maybe that's part of the reason Taylor wants to get him a few live game reps.
The Bengals open the regular season against the Minnesota Vikings on September 12.
