Former LSU WR, Kayshon Boutte, was charged for and illegal sports gaming scheme. Reports from the LA State Police say that Boutte placed 8,900 bets over about a year long period (roughly 23 bets per day). Since Boutte was 20 years old and under age, he used fake identification to get an account to place sports bets. At least 17 of those bets were placed on NCAA Football games and at least six were on LSU's games.

Per WAFB, Boutte deposited 132,147.53 dollars into his account, and won as much as 556k, but most of that was used to place more bets. He withdrew just over 50k from his account.

He also supposedly placed two bets on himself in the 2022 season opener against FSU: Boutte anytime TD scorer and Boutte over 82.5 yards...None of them hit.
