According to reports in Houston, five coaches were vetted for the Houston job -- Houston offensive coordinator Major Applewhite, Houston defensive coordinator Todd Orlando, former LSU coach Les Miles, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley. Reportedly, Riley is no longer a candidate.
