If Oklahoma gets in to the cfp it is because of the chaos and not because they are deserving of a chance at the national championship this year. The battle to claim, what is likely the number four spot in the college football playoff, seems to be a question of who is the least most undeserving team under consideration. Can't have The Ducks in there because they have two losses. Same goes for Wisconsin if they beat Ohio State today which is unlikely. I would say the Florida Gators are more deserving than any of those teams to have a spot in the college football playoff regardless of conference championships.
As a one-loss potential conference champion, boomersooner's resume is littered with poorly played games against mediocre teams that they barely won and a loss against Kansas State where they were thoroughly manhandled the entire game, the final score made it look like a much closer game than what it actually was.. I watched that entire OU vs K-State game and if you didn't watch it you can't understand how bad Oklahoma looked that day. If the committee watch that game and they still put Oklahoma in the playoff their entire selection process is a sham.
Comparatively speaking, Florida has only lost against #2 LSU and #4 Georgia. The tansitive property gives Florida an edge over the 2-loss PAC-12 champion, Oregon, because Florida beat Auburn, and Auburn beat Oregon. Injuries had a substantial negative impact on the Florida defense in several of their games this year, in addition to the injury that kept kadarius toney out of many of their games. The Gators at full strength over the Sooners and over any and all Big ten teams excluding Ohio State.
Yes, I know that Georgia would likely get in even with two losses over and above a 2-loss Florida team. My point is that even a two-loss Florida is better than a one-loss Oklahoma. Keep Oklahoma in Oklahoma.
