I'm as sick as anyone about losing Fowler, but on the plus side, I have thought from the outset that we had a real diamond in the rough in the Thornton kid. His videos indicate good vision (always around the ball) a lot of aggression - a virtual tackling machine, good at shedding potential blockers. Watch them if you haven't already.
He's way underrated as a 5.7 three star and probably isn't a MLB prospect, but mark my words, he's gonna be in there somewhere and will play a lot of good football for LSU.
