Multiple sources are reporting Louisville also obtained LSU's gameplans dating back to 2008 to review in preparation for the upcoming bowl game. The leak appears to come from an anonymous poster on an LSU forum known only as camcamtiger.
Here is statement from Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich addressing the tigerleak scandal:
"In further investigating Wake Forest leaks we have learned our coaches also received information on LSU offensive gameplans. These gameplans were delivered to one of our assistant coaches by a courier who wore a fake moustache. The binder was then given to Coach Petrino who inadvertently made 112 copies that were then inadvertently distributed to all Louisville assistant coaches and players.
The playbook dated back 8 years and consisted primarily of toss dives, a play action long pass once every ten plays and a fake field goal. It was of no use to our staff and players who did not believe it was a college playbook.
Louisville takes full responsibility for this lapse in judgment even though it was entirely not our fault. I spoke personally with Coach Petrino who assured me he had no idea what he was copying. Louisville thinks Coach Petrino's reputation speaks for itself. In order to satisfy the public that Louisville takes these allegations seriously we have suspended the student manager who distributed the LSU playbook from all bowl pregame warmup festivities.
It is a shame that every time Louisville gets caught cheating we have to be distracted with questions about our cheating and we will have no further comment".
