Jimmy and I will both be dropping notes/info on each of our pojections. https://lsu.rivals.com/news/lsu-2021-class-projections-june

Julie's notes/tidbits: Obviously we both went with the 11 commitments and here's my additional 14 to round out a 25 person class:

OL - Tristian Leigh, Garrett Dellinger, Colin Henrich, Rocco Spindler
RB - Kyree Young
WR - Brian Thomas, Chris Hilton
DL - Maason Smith, Keanu Koht
LB - Naquan Brown, Prince Kollie
DB - Sage Ryan, Matthew Langlois, Nyland Green

A few notes on picking some of these guys:

-- I've recently mentioned I have FutureCasts in for Garrett Dellinger, Chris Hilton and Brian Thomas to LSU. I also put in FC for Sage Ryan and Naquan Brown within last few weeks. And for those that might ask, the last info I heard was yes Brown is a take.

-- OL ... I also recently dropped in message board how I like where LSU sits with both Leigh and Spindler right now. Spindler is the wild card between the two. He loves LSU, just needs to get on campus. And Colin Henrich is a big body guard. He hears from LSU "all the time" so I could easily see him slipping into the class later this year but I could also see that spot being filled with a center position. LSU's top center target is James Brockermeyer but I don't like their chances of landing him without his twin brother Tommy and right now it seems like LSU is on the outside looking in for him.

-- RB ... LSU has Corey Kiner committed so it might be weird to see another Ohio RB on my list but Kyree Young talks to the staff a lot. A source close to Young's situation told me LSU will be in it until the "END" for him. Take that however you want. His mom won't let him commit anywhere until they can get on campus.

-- Okay, so DL/LBs ... LSU is going to take a haul in 2021 with switching up the defense to a 4-3. Keanu Koht is someone who was close to committing earlier this year but decided to hold off until visits are allowed. Maason Smith, well it's obvious why he's on the list. He is Coach O's big fish or top dog. It would be a huge loss if he loses a 5-star DL from his own backyard. Not on this list is Korey Foreman, clearly. I still think he might want to stay out West at USC or Oregon. I won't put him on this list until he visits LSU and I hear back on how it went. Prince Kollie is a name we haven't mentioned much before but I've been told LSU likes where they stand him the Tennessee athlete who will play linebacker at next level. Hopeful to have an interview with him soon.

-- DBs ... Like I mentioned, I, along with everyone else, fully believe Ryan will sign with LSU but let's talk about my other two picks. Jimmy has mentioned how much LSU loves Matthew Langlois and how he's flying under the radar. LSU wants to take 2-3 safeties in this class and with Dakota Mitchell just decommitting it might be the perfect opportunity for Langlois to slide in. I also thought about putting Andrew Mukuba in this spot, but stuck with the in-state underdog. They also need another corner. Ga'Quincy McKinstry is their top target, but it's going to be a hold pull to get that kid out of Alabama and away from Nick Saban AND Auburn. If they don't feel confident in landing McKinstry, looking for Nyland Green and/or Nate Wiggins to become their focus.
