- Nice to see all the home runs. Felt they could’ve taken more better at bats late in the game though.
- Liked how balanced Braswell and Kling were at the plate. They hit homers and drew some walks.
- Thought their first inning defensively could’ve been much better.
- Thought Jump played fine after the walk.
- Felt it was a very good day for the pitchers. He has a very high bare for Nate, and he pitched himself out of trouble multiple times.
- Thinks one of coach Yeskie biggest strengths is calling pitches.
- Said Aiden Moffett had a great summer and has looked really good recently.
- Said he’s been grinding on the cages after struggling at the plate opening weekend.
- Calls it a new game every time he takes the field when he switches between second and the outfield.
- Felt good to get the double play. Said he and Tommy talked about it right before it happened.
- Says there’s room for improvement at second base, but feels he’s done well so far.
- Says Milam has come a long way since getting here. Loves watching him at second base when he’s in the outfield.
- Said they got a few pencil bats yesterday and they’ve been using them.
- Says Fidel has the better mustache than Hayden.
- Everything he’s been trying to improve on has been more mental than physical.
- Was looking for something he could fight off, but got a hanging slider that he took for a Homer.
- He’s played center field his whole life so sliding over hasn’t been an issue.
- Thinks it’s really good to have the option to go to many guys in the outfield. They have 5 guys who can play any given day.
- Would love to lead off every game, but will go wherever works.
- Thinks the lineup is so deep on offense. They gave 14 guys who can take meaningful at bats and get results.
- Thinks both Brown and Milam have come in and competed at a high level. Says “there’s no more freshman class” because they don’t play like freshman.
- Also says Fidel has the best Stache on the team.
- Calls Hayden the best teammate he’s ever had.
