Brian Kelly, Brian Polian and company continued to work the transfer portal Saturday night with an offer to Akron wide receiver Konata Mumpfield.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound freshman originally from Georgia played in 12 games for the Zips and led the team across the board with 63 catches for 751 yards and eight touchdowns.
Those numbers were tied for sixth, alone at 10th and tied for fourth, respectively, in the MAC as a whole.
