- Felt his command was the best it’s been in a while. Was landing his off speed and fastball.
- He has a lot of trust in the pitchers coming in behind him, and it makes his job a bit easier.
- Says he’s been working on locating his pitches because he was walking too many batters in recent weeks.
- Knew he’d likely get his name called again today.
- Felt his stuff and command was still there despite throwing yesterday.
- Says you get sort of numb to throwing in big moments. He’s been in a lot of them so it’s never too much for him.
- Thinks it’s set them up much better with Gage and Luke being able to go extended time recently.
