Major LSU targets Maason Smith and Korey Foreman reunited this past weekend to visit UGA together on Saturday. Of course they couldn't interact with coaches or anything like that due to the NCAA dead period, but the duo went out to Athens on their own to get a feel for the campus, etc.
"It was a great experience," Smith told me late Sunday night. "It wasn't the full experience, but it was just a taste of some of the things UGA has to offer."
It was their first visit to Georgia.
It was also the first time the nation's No. 1 DE and No. 1 DT have spent in-person together since the four days together at The Opening Finals in Texas last summer.
They talk almost daily though.
"We met at The Opening. We're real close," Foreman told TigerDetails in July during a joint interview with Smith via FaceTime. "We talk like everyday or whenever we get the chance. I like to think Maason's one of my best friends so hopefully he does the same for me."
According to UGASports.com, Smith and Foreman weren't the only two high profile recruits on the UGA campus this weekend either.

I'll continue monitoring both recruits over the coming weeks/months.
Smith and Foreman still hope to tour/walk LSU's campus together at some point before deciding on where they want to go to school together. I currently have a FutureCast in on Smith to LSU, which I'm still confident about. I don't have a FC in on Foreman at this moment in time, but I like where the Tigers stand.
