Can you please explain what it is the coaching staff saw in him during camp that made them offer?
What is your opinion on him as a QB?
I watched him play earlier in the title game was wasn't blown away to say the least. Most of his passes were quick outs to his WR's and he let them do the work from there...and of course his TD pass was to Lodge in single coverage, which BTW he is an absolute beast. I guess I just don't see the logic in offering McMillan rather than going after a top JUCO guy. Not meaning to bash McMillan, just don't see how he takes any snaps here as QB. And yes, I do realize he has won back to back titles in the biggest division in high school, but the QB for Aledo, TX has done the exact same thing (Aledo played in the title game right before McMillan's team) and he's not going to a major program. So while that does mean something, it's certainly not everything.
