with the 2016 recruiting class pretty much determined I'm going to name 6 recruits that I see as absolutely vital to this class . This is base on severe needs primarily .
Michael Divinity LB and Eric Fowler LB . Because LB recruiting has been so badly neglected in the last few classes and these 2 are studs who are vital.
Rashard Lawrence DT. Because after 2016 DT will be a position of need . Because he's such a talent at a position where depth is so critical
Conner Culp K . Because both kickers are Seniors and a top kicker will be needle for the following four years
Devin White RB. . When you recruit only 1 RB you better not miss . If he's a LB then he's also vital for the reasons stated above..
Lindsey Scott QB. IMO we must reach for a QB . He's one of those boom or bust recruits . Will he be the next Johnny Manziel or never see the field . If it's Manziel LSU will be a contender for the next few years .
I left out all of the DBs and WRs because they are easy to find in La . They grow on trees in the state . Missing out on 1-2 won't set the program back too badly .
