It is clear this debacle has undermined the LSU football program. I think Miles is going to have a tough time recruiting, now that it is obvious to the entire world that he almost got fired. The negative recruiting would be so easy, if Miles is perceived as a lame duck coach. LSU almost assuredly has to give Miles an extension so that he can effectively recruit, and get rid of the lame duck status. By the same rational, it is going to be tough for him to retain and/or recruit quality assistant coaches.
