Wiggz -There was a thread a couple of weeks ago on this subject whereby I said that I hoped that with all the recent changes to the board, etc., that anyone deleting a post should say so and state the board rule being violated would become a new rule. If a mod is not willing to man up, and offer a reason, the post shouldn't be deleted to begin with.
You responded to that idea and I somehow didn't get the chance to reply to your response though every day I seem to think of it when I'm not on the computer. I just want to get that one off of my to-do list right now.
I don't recall all of the wording and specifics, but you came up with several passages from someplace(s), and by the time you were through it all added up to : A mod can delete any post he wants to for any reason he wants to and doesn't have to explain his reasoning or note the rule broken to anyone.
Just wanted to tell you that even I was surprised by the tone of this response, and considered it a big pile of self -important egotistical, arragant, blowhard BS, which now convinces me more strongly than ever that the " mod man up" rule should be initiated immediately if not sooner. I will notify Mike of my suggestion via email.
