1. Manieri looks very tight and anxious in big games ( particularly in yesterday's game) and his team plays the same way.
2. LSU hitting strategy against TCU's Preston Morrison was terrible. I would think against a sinker ball/off speed pitcher, the approach would be patience. Patience to take more pitches and get deeper into the count. Also, I would think they would try to shorten their swings to get the barrel through the zone and square up the ball instead of beating the top of the ball. Maybe they had a strategy but didn't execute because they were so wound up like the coach.
