I am taking full responsibility for the loss to Bama. For those of you who don't know me, I have the power to influence the outcome of games. It is a bit of an art and takes some trial and error.
Here is what happened :
1. I wore my Nike dry fit purple long sleeve LSU shirt for the AU game and it worked perfectly.
2. Every other attire selection worked for games 1-7.
3. Since I was confident we would have a shot I wore the same attire for the Bama game that I did for the AU game. I thought, same state, hate them the same, we played great, etc; good mojo, and that shirt choice would do the trick.
It seems as though I angered the gods and it backfired. The gods apparently punished me by making out big men in the trenches play with concrete cleats. For that I apologize. It won't happen again.
Today I am wearing a yellow t-shirt with a bad ass black LSU vest. It is a zippered front with purple LSU embroidered on the front (slick) and "TIGERS" across the back. I also got a new white LSU cap that will be a game time decision based on "feel" before kickoff.
Just had to get that off my chest. GEAUX TIGERS.
